We understand that once you have decided to sell your property you would like things to move swiftly.
Selling a property requires a lot of information to be gathered, our conveyancing solicitors acting for the buyer we would have a legal obligation to gather this information.
Residential Services
Seeing you through
The person acting for the buyer may often raise enquiries which we will go through with you. Although many are standard there may be unusual enquiries. We will be with you every step of the way.
Bridger’s Law, as your expert conveyancing solicitors, will provide you with the Property Information Form, Fixtures and Fittings Form and if appropriate the Leasehold Information Form.
We offer face to face appointments which are included in our fee and will be pleased to assist you in completing the forms.
We obtain a redemption statement from your Lender on your behalf and tell you if there are any additional fees such as an Early Redemption Fee. We will initially obtain an indication of the amount repayable and will obtain the final sum due once we have exchanged contracts and agreed a completion date.
We will always complete the sale at your convenience.
Until contracts have been exchanged nothing is cast in stone and you should avoid making firm arrangements until then.
If you are selling a Leasehold Property and there is a Managing Agent then they as well as your Landlord may charge a fee for providing the information required. We will tell you what their fees are as soon as we are able to.
You will have a single contact person who will communicate with you by email, phone and post as appropriate who will be assisted by a high experienced team thereby ensuring that your matter is progressed at a pace that is convenient to you.
