We’re celebrating our colleague Alanna Forwood today following the news that she has passed her Solicitor’s Qualifying Exam 2 (SEQ2).
The SEQ2 assesses candidates in the practical skills necessary for working as a solicitor, including client interviewing, attendance notes, advocacy, legal drafting, research and writing, and case analysis. The exam follows on from SEQ1 which tests functioning legal knowledge.
Once both exams are passed and practical work experience is completed, candidates can apply for the role of a solicitor, and we are pleased to say that Alanna will now take on this role.
We are committed to supporting all our team members to develop in their legal careers and continue to develop their knowledge and skills. We’re proud of Alanna’s achievements and it has been a pleasure to see her success following all her hard work.
‘I am so pleased that I have passed my SQE 2 exams meaning that due to completing all my qualifying work experience with Bridger’s, I will now be a qualified Solicitor.
‘I am truly hopeful that I will now be able to apply everything that I have learnt throughout my training, together with my ongoing development through client relations, to assist clients in matters both relating to family law and private client.
‘This training not only taught me the ‘black letter law’ behind my day to day job, but also resilience in dealing with tough matters and prioritisation when working alongside training.’
Well done, Alanna!
